Cadaba fruticosa is a species of plant in the Capparaceae family.
It is endemic on Indian Subcontinent: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Indo-China: Myanmar.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
In Tamil naadu, Cadaba Fruticosa is known as '"vizhuthi"(Tamil: விழுதி) and used in Siddha medicine for more than 2000 years. The juice of the leaves is especially used to cure gonorrhoes.(Tamil: வெண்மேகம்).
